ICARE's Anbar team of volunteers carried out our health promotion & disease prevention programme in Al Anbar province and arranged for a community clean up project to remove rubbish from the streets of a local village. Piles of rubbish collected over time infested with disease and producing a toxic smell in the neighbourhood where children play. The project involved many members of the community coming together to help clean up the streets including truck drivers and local officials who contributed to the clean up effort. Thank you to ICARE Anbar and to all those who took part in making our streets clean, beautiful & safe again.
