ICARE volunteers in Iraq (Baghdad and Babylon) have not only contributed in volunteering their time and energy into our many activities on the ground in Iraq but also have given of themselves by donating their blood to local blood banks. In a country that is constantly suffering from explosions and injured civilians, blood donated saves lives on a daily basis.
